Post by: gto on July 14, 2013, 12:32:32 pm
just swapped and epoxied my new SLX clamps.
but when i dismantled the pole most of the stop tape was damaged.

what did anyone else do when changing the clamps, leave the tape off or use something else.

It is a good idea to check the joint stop tape and replace if needed every 3 months or so when cleaning and checking the pole. This video shows how to replace it - http://youtu.be/KtXwzxNetNE
