Title: Ashby solution hose
Post by: JandS on July 11, 2013, 06:56:06 pm
Anybody got Ashby solution hose with the yellow QC protector.
If so how do you get it off to change the female QC.
Had to crack the other two off to change them and now this one is dripping.
It's the length I use most and it's lasted till now, 4 years and one month to the day I bought it....quality.

Put it in boiling water then drive the quick connect out with a socket, then warm it up again before you put the new one back on.

Another new what Paul...I've got a spare female QC...want to try and take the protector off, put the new QC on then replace protector...they're pretty good those protectors.

I think the protector has to go IMO you could always try electricians tape around it.

Going to try heating it up to get it off...if that don't work it's coming off anyway...in bits.
