Title: faux leather suite

this is a picture of the footrest of a faux leather recliner. The customer said her child spilt something there and it left a mark. The customer claims she hasn't done anything to the fabric to remedy the spill but I think she has been rubbing it and damaged the fabric. This is an insurance claim so I would appreciate opinions please. I appreciate the photo is not very clear but its the best I could get. Thanks in anticipation.
