Got a very big carpet in a church to clean medium beige wool carpet. I use power burst nearly always as find it too difficult to clean using gentler chemicals. There are a lot of food and drink stains as well as foot traffic. I've always found you have to overwet with woolsafe products which i don't want to do. Any ideas as probably needs more than just powerburst to get really clean. Or shall i just use powerbust alone and accept won't be perfect. I don't want to use too much water in building. Thanks.

Hi Jeremy
This is one of those occasions I would use an enzyme booster, Chemspec do a good one, Enzall.
It needs to be mixed hot to work well and a good dwell is best.
Kind regards
Doug

Give chemspec dfc HD ago and rinse with dfc 105. You will likely have to treat some individual stains but it really is very good. The mix ratio is 60ml to 4l however I have used a bit stronger at 100ml to 5l.

And good agitation with a decent CRB - or anything else you can get hold of.

I would use an oxi boosted product for pre-spray, rinse and or shampoo.
This will help not only with organic staining but with brightening also.

Thanks for your help. I shall buy some enzall as i like to buy as few chemicals as i can and seems to be a general sort of product. It will be interesting to see how it works. When looking at description it seems like it would be a more common product to use than it is. Is it more risky than powerburst?

I think Pureclean does a fantastic job on most carpets, especially wool.
Food and drink stains may pose a slightly bigger task, but just do the spotting after, if required.
