hello I need help with my system please I currently run a 450gpd constant pump into a 400ltr static tank I want to run a bigger resin container
the tds before resin Is 011 after 3to 4 months its 020 to 030
1 is it better for me to hook a 11ltr vessel to the ro and bypass the sesin container
2 is it better to have a sepperate vessel and pump from static tank through submersible pump and then vessel into van
3 which way would the resin last longer
4 I use 1000 ltres a week how long would the resin last at the tds that it is
the reason iam asking is iam trying to buy for the whole year resin and filters I have only just changed the membranes so its filters and resin basically

It should always be RO then DI vessel .
In order to save cost of resin you could put your water through the RO only into static tank then fill your van tank .
Then if you have the room in your van connect to pump from tank as normal then after the pump connect to your 11 ltr DI vessel then connect to hose reel the much lower flow rate will make your resin last much longer . ;) ;) . Mike

sorry mike I meant run it through ro first into static tank I thought I said
no room in van but when you say slower flow rate resin lasts longer maybe I should attach the the di vessel to the ro instead of the transfer pump making di last longer

Yes tap to Ro to Di to Static tank = pure water , Then use transfer pump to van mount . Mike

NO

operate a twin DI system inbetween your RO and your static tank

I've no idea, because you will be extending the life of your resin (for all intents and purposes) by operating a twin DI system.
the reason iam asking is iam trying to buy for the whole year resin and filters I have only just changed the membranes so its filters and resin basically
