Prob one for the king of add ons AKA Dazmond ;) - who I think has things sorted so a compliment not a pea take ;D
Changing a few things in my business and add ons first thing getting looked at amongst a few other areas so expect a few rambling postings in next few days
With conny roofs I have always done them seperate to my day to day window cleaning and normally on a Saturday which I now realise prob not best use of time and double diesel so now will be booking these for next window visit. .... plus dont get that many tbh
Roof shown has 15 panels and I would normally try to get £80 for something like this.
How long would this take you to do and if u dont mind me asking how much would you aim to charge ??
If I plug reel into customers tap, start carrying some tfr in my sprayer instead of leaving it at home then I rekon this could be done in under an hour for £30 to £40 extra on top of windows ... ok may be a quick scrub over compared to a full on clean for a few hours on a Saturday but at half my normal price maybe this is all a customer wants ?

your thoughts and suggestions please ;)

id do it in about an hour and still charge 80 you will get most of them and most of the time water is enough alone

I reckon about an hour. Not really very dirty.

I'd be quoting £120 for the conservatory. (Finials, roof, empty gutters, all external plastic and glass)
But whilst there I'd be upselling a full house clean. (As above + gutters, fascias, soffits, windows + frames etc) and I'd be asking anywhere from £200 - £300 depending in a few factors.
Some will say this can be done in a couple of hours but it would take us (2 men) a full morning or afternoon.
I love jobs like this and get a good amount of them too, mostly from non window cleaning customers too.

I find it's the little bits that take the time, the top finial and the white cappings on the end of the panels, especially if covered in green grime.
I also always give the gutters a clean out beforehand as it saves the hassle of having the gutters fill up with water
while you are cleaning the roof and slopping over the top. ;D
The roof panels don't look too bad.
It could take less than an hour but I would quote for 2 hours labour.
I've quoted 2 lately at £75 and the other at £100 both with glass roofs and one was absolutely filthy.
The customers nearly fell over when I gave them the price, so I don't think i'll get them. ::)roll
But I wouldn't do them for any less.

The thing is that on my own I hate jobs like this. If I had someone else to do it, I would do the same as you. But I would do it in 2 1/2 hours max with the soffits and gutters (not clearing). I would charge about £120 for the lot.

Do you ever clean non customers conservatories / fascias etc or just your regular window customers?
What percentage of your add ons are regular customers conpared to non customers?
-
Mostly regular window customers deege.anyone not regular customers then I charge a lot more as usually their windows and fascias are minging so I try and upsell like yourself.full UPVC clean starts at 120quid.although I don't get a lot of them.

Cheers for reply, that's exactly as I thought. I do exactly the same, non customers I quote far higher.
