I am by no means an expert and actually have very little experience as of yet but this looks like slate. I'm sure someone will correct me.
I'm going to take a stab at how to clean it as well so please correct me people:
- High pH chem (All for Stone or Aqua Mix etc) rinse, repeat if necessary etc
- Colour enhancing sealer, x3 coats
Although brief am I along the right lines?

Did you not test when you where there?

Scratch test and acid test, and test before using a product. Someone more experienced will be along shortly.

It is slate with a topical sealer on it. The grout is filthy as well.
Pre wet the floor
Apply Aqua Mix Heavy Duty Cleaner diluted 3:1 and allow to dwell for 15-30 Minutes
Add a little honing powder and scrub with a soft to medium brush on your rotary scrubber
Then vac up solution
Rinse thoroughly and vac again
Allow floor to dry thoroughly and then seal with Aqua Mix Enrich N Seal.
Make sure you mask off thoroughly before you start

Make sure you mask off thoroughly before you start
This cannot be stressed enough in my opinion.
A lot of people will skip this stage as they see it as an unnecessary cost/waste of time.
Had a couple of guys recently complaining about the time and money it takes just to chuck it in the bin.
Price up how much a stainless steel fridge door is or the re-polishing of it.
I had to once for a lift door as one of my guys was "pushed for time" we were lucky and I managed to fix it easily but could have cost us £500.00. It did however cost about 4 hours of my time for a 20 minute fix and a preventative measure that would only take 2 mins and cost a few quid for the area to be protected..
As you wipe off abrasive honing powder slurry it can leave some nice scratching.
A splash skirt for your rotary is also a good investment for a belt & braces approach.

Can you help with where to buy a splash skirt please?

Yep your advice was very good except you probablt would not get the three coats of sealer in slate unless you were suggesting another topical ? But my choice would be enhancing impregnating

No product in general just thought three coats. How many coats of Enrich and Seal would you recommend?

I had a good chat with Anthony about enrich n seal yesterday Neil ( very helpful :) )
Enrich n Seal appears to be an expensive product but when you look at less product used ( in my case a slate job as well and possibly 1 coat) and less time on the job applying the extra coats a and the waiting time involved then you see it's more cost effective. Some custys don't like it and Insist on a topical no matter what you say to them.
