Title: Carbon Fibre - Gutter Poles
Post by: Kev Martin on July 02, 2013, 05:42:18 pm
We are now selling these!  Ours are Tapered Lock Fit 2 Metres Long with 51mm O/D designed to go with our Gutter Vacs.

The same as these offered in the link below:

http://www.space-vac.co.uk/product-list.php?pg1-cid7.html

Except ours are £110 + VAT so just a mere £103.25 cheaper. ;D

In addition our Vac is 1/2 the price and 2 x as powerful

Usually when poles are advertised as "carbon composite" they are a f/glas carbon mix (wfp, gutter poles etc) and the price /weight varies accordingly......But i appreciate what you are saying.

I am led to believe there are two ways of making these tubes:

1.  Pultruding
2.  Roll Wrapped

Ours are roll wrapped.

If you say so Kev, how are people meant to view them and compare if you have not given any details or web links to your product?

Just getting them photographed for the website along with about 500 other things!  We are updating the website daily!  In the meantime the poles are identical to these in this link

http://www.space-vac.co.uk/product-list.php?pg1-cid7.html

And the Vac is the same as the one in this link except it does not have the pump out and it has a 50mm Inlet.  Oh!  and it only costs £479 including the VAT ;D ;D

Kevin,
Doe's your vacuum have any 'debris / collection' filter to protect submersible, whilst using it as a gutter vac?
Cant tell from ebay information
Apologies if I have asked this before.

My engineer fits an extra adapter filter cage fitted round the submersible ball.  He also does  the same on the pump out versions he builds for the German Fire Service which is the one in the Link
