Title: WFP van system recommendations
Post by: g.brookes on July 02, 2013, 04:49:43 pm
Hello again chaps.
Looking at getting a properly fitted van set up for 2 men.
Which suppliers can you recommend, pure freedom, x line, grippa max, pure 2o etc.
Any particular reasons why?  they all seem to be around the same price i.e a bit too dear!
Are grippa max worth the extra cost?
ps it would be DI only
cheers

Pure 2o

They price match other systems. I just bought another 700l system from them.

For 2 I would always get 1000l - I know others will say you dont need that much, but more is always better than not enough trust me.

There crash tested which most others arnt. Although grippa max is.

GrippaMax all day long.

Not only is the vehicle a dream to drive as no excessive "sloshing" movements, the tank is crash tested too.

Lid doesnt leak, great service, nicely fitted, designed for the job, and again, crash tested.

Safety first.

If you're not bothered about that element, just buy a wyedale tank and ratchet straps.

concept, i am really concerned by that aspect.

what i meant was, the grippa max is coming back at about 500 quid more than the pure 2o system.  just wanted to know in your opinion whether the extra cost is worth it, bearing i mind theyre both crash tested

Speak to Olly at Grippatank, he will be best to advise you why.

I think the crash tests are different, but not certain.

The Grippatank tanks are custom made for them, and baffled to such an extent that you won't know you're carrying it.

Never had the older Ionics gear, so can't tell you any pros or cons of them.
