Title: What do you use for highish inside cleaning
Post by: davids3511 on July 01, 2013, 07:20:05 pm
Have one new commercial with a high atrium around its staircase, too high to reach by hand and a ladder is out of the question. I did it first time by gaffer taping my mop and squeegee to my SLX but for obvious reasons this isn't what I want to do on a regular basis.

Now that the heavy dirt is gone what can I use to clean on a more regular basis. I want something microfiber pad based but don't really want to pay £70 odd quid for something I will use for 5 minutes a month. Can it be bodged up?

Take the sleeve off your applicator and sow/tie a micro fiber onto it?
Stick an extention pole on and your away.
Ultimate bodge though lol

I have been doing some high internal work recently and use my slx with a cone screwed onto the quick release angle adapter with an unger  fixi  clamp,  with a scrim for detailing, after squeegeing using a wagtail.
I found the wagtail best used as just a squeegee as using with the pad at high level is tricky.

Just use your normal applicator on the cone to wet up the window.
