Hi

Just use a solvent on a towel, white spirit will do.

Go gently and don't rub in.

You  may need to rinse the remains out with a detergent.

Cheers

Doug

I'm assuming your not a carpet cleaner

I'm a window cleaner, I've used some acetone (make up remover) and been dabbing it with kitchen towel, then sprayed it with lots of water and rubbed it with another piece of the carpet, it has removed most of it but its still really wet, so I have to wait and see.

Thanks for your quick reply

Get your self a clean towel, fold it put it over the wet area, and stand on it to soak up the water, you
can keep doing that til it's dry as you can get it. Open windows, you can use a hair dryer if you are careful.

Follow Doug's advice, mascara is not a problem for carpet cleaners, just make sure you put the solvent on a towel then on to the carpet. Acetone can damage some carpet fibers and we don't know what your carpet is made of, also if you get the carpet too wet and don't dry it you can end up with a dirty mark appearing.
