how do i add a second job on a customer file i have a few customers that have the back windows done every other time.
Thanks Paul

Hi Paul
Click the customer's name to view their overview page, then use the 'New Job' button to create an additional job for the same customer. Note that if a customer's name is not set up, you'll see either a link with the text 'Customer Name?' that you can click, or an Edit button if you move the mouse over where the name should be.
Hope this helps...
Chris.

How good is aworka? I'm after some round management software now. I need it to run on a mac an idealy a mobile or pda, does it take ages to set up as in inputting customers and how easy is it to use?

i found it a little harder than george to start with but once used to it its much better than george in my opinion , particularly like the planner.

Depends on how many customer's you have it can take hours to set up but , the benefit long term is so worth it .
I have used Aworka for 14 months now and it has made running my business so much easier , Plus if you put all your business expenses in as well it does your profit & loss .
Along with income forecast , And not forgetting you can manage your debt list easily plus you can email invoices to commercial customers looks so much more professional . Mike

I'm using the 6 week trail atm. To be honest its not for me at £10 a month! But I see it a "must have" in years to come when it has been perfected. So i'll most probably be using it in a couple of years time :)

Great app, worth every penny, like all app's takes a little time to find your way around but once you have you'll appreciate all the features let alone excellent supported from Chris as Paul is with George.
I run mine on an iMac and iPhone, haven't printed a work sheet for over a year.

I'm still working on it; I think I'm about 80% of the way there!

50p per day too much?
At a conservative estimate, it saves me around 10 minutes a day. I'll pay 50p not to have to work for ten minutes more in the evening.

hi Chris, all the things that say coming soon? they have been coming soon forever
-
Well i'm not going to pay for something that i don't think is worth it. You might want too and that's up too you. This is my option and it shouldn't effect you. So there's no need to get upset about it!
I wasn't dissing the program, i think its the future of running our businesses. I use Pocket George and there is no need for ME to change. I would only be paying £10.00 for not connecting my pda to my pc each day. £10.00 to save 2 minutes. not for me thanks.

Sorry Michael, I guess most of the 'coming soon' features have ended up lower priority than I expected when I added them, but that doesn't mean I'm not developing the system in other areas. At the moment, I'm working on extending the auto planning so it works up to a year ahead, instead of only one job ahead (as requested by Smudger and others). Then, I'm turning my attention to the mobile app, to extend the planner from a few days, to a couple of weeks (as well as finishing some of the mobile 'coming soon' features). Beyond that, I'm keen to integrate automatic text messaging and a add a multiuser planner view, among many other things, including everything else that's currently 'coming soon'!

Fair point Michael , But as far as i am aware Aworka is the only round tracking program that is actually up to date for most peoples needs and uses .
Unlike window cleaning pro which people have constant problems with due to no updates and the developer's not giving a toss and george is as old as windows 98 .
And without knowing all the ins & outs of software development i am sure that for us average joes it is pretty close to rocket science ;D ;D ;D ; . Mike

I emailed my george backup file and they entered it all for me .
If you pay a year up front its only £100 so save £20 over paying monthly .
The profit and loss and round valuation is much better than george too .
