Title: RO Flow Problem

Could you give me a few clues please?
I've got a Purefreedom ro setup 450gpd with 3xprefilters, which, a couple of weeks ago I replaced with the single Fibradine filter. All was ok til yesterday, when I noticed my DI (10" with clear plastic) vessel was half empty (or half full  ;D). Hardly any product coming out.
I've checked the seal on my prefilter =ok. I checked all the connections on the ro system, took it all to bits. No blockages. The tap water tds is 70 and the dribble that comes out of the ro is 26. Oh, I also took the RO filters out and tried to see if the flow was any better. It was.
What do you think?

If your tds in is 70 and out is 26 your membranes are goosed.  :o

Your pre filter is blocked.

To find out whether it is the pre-filter or the ROs that are at fault you will need to take a pressure reading of the input water before and after the pre-filter. If this is a large drop (greater than 10-15 psi) then it would sound like the pre-filter has blocked for some reason.

the second one on this page named (Pentair (pentek) CFB-Plus carbon filter)

They are different filters with different capacities, but using the same technology.

The ones on the GAPS site (CFB-Plus) have a 37,500 litre chlorine removal lifespan compared to the 75,000 litre life-span of the ones on our site. Both excellent filters just different chlorine removal abilities and a different price.
