Nice vid
I had problems with claber reel the plastic twisted that holds the metal slats that the hose winds on to when the hose was not fully unwound , now use a cox reel much better and saves time  ;D

Good video. Is the thermobore plus much thicker than the old thermobore?

Have to agree about PU pole hose wether its aqua adapter or Gardiner, it's the only way to go for hot. I found the red stuff too stiff though, however I don't use an aqua adapter, so may be that's why.

Simon.

good to see more of your videos lee, no protection for your rectus connectors though? the rubber disc from pure freedom is my favourite along with a ball on the end of the pole hose,

you could fit thermobore going from your heater to reel especially if you've just got that spare 10m lying around

Hi lee
What fitting have you got from water outlet on gas heater in to radiator hose?

Good job lee very watchable.

How are you finding pulling off and winding up with the thicker hose and those huge lumps of brass hanging on the end ?

I've just changed all the vans over from 8mm streamline hose to 6 mm I/d and 11 o/d and its some much lighter and quicker to reel in

the fitting out of the boiler is a brass hose lock.

I cant say about the winding since i dont use them myself. yes there a bit heavier but I like stuff that lasts and hot water seems to kill everything in terms of equipment.

Radiator hose from most car accessory shops. 13mm I think I bought, they keep it in quite long lengths, just get it cut to size.

I've got a magnetic one.
It only needs to be on whilst on the road.
I take mine off if I haven't got a bottle on board.
Maybe he took it off...

the coolant hose between the boiler and reel is from Duncan rodgers engineering Ltd tel 0141 882 6211 I dealt with Ryan. I told him we needed a hose with half inch ID rated up to or over 100c
