Title: Catastrophic iPad Failure!!!
Post by: telfordwindowclnr on June 22, 2013, 05:13:14 pm
Here's a chuckle for some of you.

My iPad has completely died along with my list of jobs I needed to price and my calendar.  Now I don't know where I'm supposed to be on any day!  I got my window cleaning book still, but used my calendar extensively for one-off jobs.  There's gonna be a few disappointed customers in the next few weeks.  :-\

I'm hoping my calendar is backed up on the cloud so when I get a replacement, my jobs will be intact.  ALL of my important contact info and list of jobs was in Notes.  So here's a tip, don't just use Notes in case the iPad dies, back it up somewhere else.

Gutted...

Yes haven't done it myself yet as only just moved over from a laptop to iPad 5
But you can sync notes to cloud on all models

If you haven't sync'ed then you may be out of luck

Why don't you use Aworka? Or have a backup. I am not laughing at all even though I would be one of those that you probably think would be. I genuinely feel for you.

Dark ages if you are running your window cleaning work with a book. Especially if you are growing.

It should be either on iCloud, or on the pc you synch to.
Also, if you run iPhone, notes automatically copies to iPhone

Depends what settings youve got on the ipad steve. Theres an option in settings to back everything up in the cloud or just one item at a time.
