to those that employ, do you hold your employees liable for any excess if they are involved in an accident that is their fault..?

Im thinking of creating a fleet policy, i only have one employee who has just started and i have him filling out a daily walk round check and mileage form, I know a lot of businesses have started introducing company excesses for fault accidents and i wouldn't take it all at once if he did.
