Title: Twin feeds ?
Post by: wpclean on June 21, 2013, 11:22:22 pm
Looking at buying a Honda 13 hp, running 21 lpm,  one supplier has twin feed, and the other doesn't . . . . is it necessary, what is the reason for having it on the machine ?

Thank you for any comments  ;D

Its so the pump can get enough water to produce the full 21lpm.

I only have one feed onto mine. 3/4" hose. I did a test the other day and its running the full 21lpm.

So its not really necessary to have the two feeds then ?

I Spoke to cat pumps at a tradeshow and the said dual feed is used for when the temp of the water exceeds the recommended level and cavitation might occur.
