Con;

If you print out work sheet,anyone owes you money,printed in red,easy to see.But on the PDA,there is a dot front of the address,easy to miss.

Pro;

All the debts are together and in your hand so very easy to update when you receive payments cheques or FPS.

I stopped using mine for a while but have just started again.

I think they are great and save so much time.

One bit of advice buying a PDA,  dont get a really old one with no backlight, they are hard to read in daylight.

I'm not sure they still make them with the palm o/s - I think HP bought out Palm.

After my first got stolen, I bought a ZIRE 71 off eBay, for around £10 to £15 pound, no problems at all, I even bought a spare one as a reserve - because I hated going back to jobsheets when my first one was lifted.

The Tungsten models are later version and are a little slimmer - for less than £20 you can't beat a palm ;D

i wanted a brand new one with a case.hope it will last years!

ive no idea how to set these things up!

so when i get it do i download pocket george to my laptop then transfer data to PDA?then when i update at work just plug into laptop and HOTSYNC it and it updates george on laptop?

this will cut down on paper and ink a lot.to be honest im sick of having loads of paperwork in the van.messing about with 2 lots of stuff! ;D ;D ;D ;D

any advice would be welcome lads!

better get off to work now.busy day ahead! ;D ;D
