Title: Extraordinary window cleaning shifts.
Post by: Dean Taberner on June 20, 2013, 07:34:50 pm
Hello,

We are working tomorrow (fri), saturday and sunday nights window cleaning a roof top of a shopping centre in Gloucestershire 5pm-1am,

All good fun playing with cherry pickers and taking stick from local drinkers who can see us operating from pub next door,

Does anybody else love window cleaning as much as us to work these type of hours?

I aren't being sarcastic either we do actually enjoy the challenge.

Dean.

We also worked 2 nights (through the night) last month. It's all good fun taking the drunken, slurred abuse from the local idiots!

I was surprised at how quickly the time passed on the graveyard shift!

Edit: 5pm til 1am pfffffff. We worked 2 nights from 7pm - 6am. It only classes as working a night shift if your still cleaning when the sun comes up. :)

;D ;D Hi dean. Ask Alex Wingrove about some days he does. They are pretty extreme, well, I'll rephrase that. They are VERY extreme for a 'northern softie' (even though I'm only in telford!) ;)

I do some night shifts in the summer at a wedding venue between weddings.

Get a call around 10-11pm, turn up at 1am, watch the last of the drunks leave then crack on. Finish around 4, back home and sleep till 8, then back on the windows.

Sometimes i can do that 3 times in a week in August

sfwc - you'd be suprised some of the things that happen at weddings

Main problem is kids and drunks messing the windows up with finger prints & food from the kids and vommit and drink spills from the drunks.

Dean - im good ta mate, business has been booming this year - not on bbm, moved over to andriod. You still working as hard i see

Hi Dean,

You make sure you take good care of that cherry picker cause Lee wants it back in one piece!

I only just brought it back from CTE in Leicester actually after some warranty repair work.

Cheers,

Huw
