My Honda sigma pump (interpump ww965) needs replacing, is there a cheaper alternative that will fit this machine?

ww965 that is the cheapest option. Reseal it?

It's been run without the water filter so bits of crap have broken the ceramic inside  :(

replace the pistons? £25 each

Yes.
While it's apart check the seals for damage and also the valves. Change the oil.
