Dont think I will be buying anymore sebo vacumes! They are only guaranteed for twelve months and a new bush motor has cost me nearly 90 quid

Think i will have to iinvest in a royal or somthing similar !

Second hand Kirbys off e bay, can't beat them...indestructible...no plastic bits to break in back of van.

100% agree

(actually the plastic flex hooks do break off, but generally solid as a rock and by far the best vac for beating rugs)

Kirbys are useless for edges.  Sebo has a easy pull out hose for edges.

You'll sell more BS36s.  Darts are for housewives.

Never had a motor problem in 7 years.

We stopped doing Darts for commercial users as there were issues with motors on too many occasions.

The BS36/46 however are the high quality they have always been.

Interesting that is the opposite of what SEBO told me yesterday.  I ordered 20 Darts and only 10 BS 36 I think I am going to ring them today and swap it over because I sold 3 BS36's to a School yesterday and I have a Hotel to talk to tomorrow about some Darts

It may well be that they have resolved the issues.

However we decided to pull the model from our offering.

An industry colleague had the biggest issues with them.

We still do the little Dart Polisher with the Twister pad for housewives to do maintenance on stone polishing jobs and haven't had issues with them.

Interesting we have had more many more positive comments than negatives and at the end of the day like everything else Tiling Logistics stocks and sells we did do extensive research before we decided on SEBO.  I will let you know in a year or so when we have analysed sales, repairs etc

I buya new  one every year and sell a used one ,rotating my 3 machines. They are very reliable for me , looks are more important ,and the navy blue ones get a lot more positive comments than the grey ones.

I must say I notice that genuine bags and filters  perform a lot better than copy versions.

I have had my Dart 2 for over 5 years and not had any problems. It has been used and abused but just keeps going. With any vacuum you have to do routine maintenance ie: clean the filters regularly as this cuts down on suction and puts extra strain on the motor.

OK as promised I have spoken to SEBO Technical about the Dart and they said:

Two years ago last January so January 2011 the SEBO Dart had too many problems with the Ametek motors going.  SEBO made the decision from January 2011 to fit the Dart with a new Motor made by Siemens.  Since then they have never had a single motor go Worldwide unless it was through water damage!
Therefore for those of you that have a SEBO Dart which is relatively new and the Motor has gone if you e mail me the serial number SEBO are prepared to send me replacement Siemens Motors which I will fit free of charge.
So now you have no excuse if you have a Dart with a problem unless the motor went through water damage!

Now that's Service
