Post by: Matt Gibson on June 15, 2013, 08:50:23 am
OK, so has anyone on here got a zeta petrol machine? I know a couple bought zetas, but not sure if they were diesel or petrol.

How much fuel does it go through say, full day 8 hours?

Yes around that Matt I know diesel would be cheaper but the petrol is lighter to monouver around and it's quieter

For what I need I'm very very happy with it I don't do pw full time so it suites my needs I know rob ( top dog) said I should have got the 30ltr but after going from a 15ltr to the 23 ltr the difference is phoneminal

Matt you can convert honda gx engines to run of lpg or similar, you jus run it off a calor gas type bottle, alot cheaper than petrol. Might be worth looking into getting they do a kit for your engine if you get it. I think you just adapt the carburettor or something. Not sure as I've never done it but i think it's not that hard to do

hi all   mine is a zeta 18 hp petrol 200 bar 30 ltr a min
the perfomance is i think good
would not want to use a smaller flow rate
fuel is about a gallon a hour flat out
but with power like this you do not need full power
i get about 2hrs 15min run time from a gallon

Its only going to be a back up/second machine and for use on gum jobs so i wont be running it 5 days a weeks, 8 hours a day but i might have to look into the gas conversion.
