Title: Gutter Vacs & other uses
Post by: andyM on June 13, 2013, 09:56:01 am
Do any of the Gutter Vac users on here use them for more than just Gutter Cleaning?
Sometimes I find the odd conservatory roof that has become a trap for leaves and moss but is awkward to sweep out or blast out with water and takes ages.
Anyone use their vac for jobs like this?

Yes we do the same for large connys where the pitch is we use a reducing silicone bend as it squashes into the gap. I have also used it for the grates across driveways
And soak aways and once for a flooded flat roof on a 4 storey block of flats where no one could gain access filled the vac up over 30 times with water

Thanks for the reducing silicone bend tip, sounds just the sort of thing I wanted to hear.  :)
