I Know this is a long shot, but I was wondering if anybody has got a Franchised Carpet Cleaning companies Manual they would like to sell or share.

There is nothing in them you wouldn't already know and believe me, plenty you wouldn't want to know. Like how long to clean a sofa, a cushion, the arms, most what I read what not realistic.
I was a Rainbow franchisee, the actual training for carpet cleaning was a mix of NCCA approced writings with bits from Chemspec, as it was their chemicals we used.
Marketing the carpet cleaning again, laughable if it wasn't so serious. 2 and 3 was leaflets either side and three in front when on a job. Believe me it was appalling. Letter templates that went on and on and on.
Marketing was pizz poor. I remember is 2008 just as I was leaving they spent 250k with yell. They thought by putting 6A's at the front of Rainbow it would put them on page one of carpet cleaning!! The tool who come up with that is still their marketing manager.
They spent christ knows how much sponsoring a car for the fiat stilo challenge. A rally car that never finished a stage.
They had golf days, one I remember was the Chuckle Brothers, problem was one of the Chuckles couldn't make it so they sent the other Chuckle Brother Brother.
Seriously I wish I was making it up. They didn't have a bloody clue. That is why now, they are dropping like flies. The insurance work is a busted flush, but they cannot market their original business because they are too far removed from it.

I've just had a CV from an ex servicemaster. i think most are struggling now. probably chemdry are the only ones doing well. what ever happened to hydrodynamics???

Cd are great marketers and although some may struggle most will prosper.

One of the largest Servicemasters is up for sale for around 250k I believe so they probably had a decent business ..
Quite how you would see a ROI on that would be tough given the best days of the insurance related work is behind them ..
As for franchise manuals I believe they would be the property of the franchisor so any one selling or passing them on would be leaving themselves open to legal action.

Speaking from personal experience there is n't anything in SM manuals of any worth - its all out there already.
Looking at the old league tables the ones who did best either lived in an affluent area or had been in the game for a long time or had bought the licence off a previous licensee who been at it for a while. Very few just did carpet cleaning the one who wants 250k for the business is the son of the previous director but he had one of the biggest TOs from what I can remember. The regional meetings were not of much interest usually to do with keeping the insurance companies happy. Or in SM case insurance company (singular) few of them had a few loss adjustor's passing work to them. Still possible to make some money out of it though just best not to rely on it as a single income stream.

Whether the manual had anything in it of note or not, it is still the intellectual property of the franchisor and can not just be passed around.
Strange how this question been asked on two different boards by two different people at the same time.
