Lots of people raving about using powdered F90 as a rinse, i understand that the main difference between the powder and liquid is one is buffered and the other isnt... the PH level can be adjusted on the liquid by the dilution...
Ashbys have advised against using powdered detergents in the Enforcer due to possible damage to the pump, what's everyone's views on these two products?
Liquid or powder ?

The powder is fluffy not like the gritty powders you can get I mix a solution up in a bucket then dilute accordingly, which one is for you to try and decide that's not meant to be cryptic just it's a personal choice.

I use powder for the truckmount and liquid for my portable both work great.

I've been using formula 90 powder for years in both my truckmount and 400psi ninja and it has caused no problems.I had one of the first 400psi ninjas and had a few problems with the pump but once they changed to the black pumptec heads i've never had any trouble. I believe its the same pump head in the enforcer just a different motor but i may be wrong.

Surely if the pump was flushed through after use there wouldn't be a problem?
I do this after each job plus once a month i use the kilrock de scaler to clean my heating element and in line V2.

To be honest i never flush my ninja out just empty the tank, sometimes i don't use it for a couple of weeks and its fine and its about five years old. The early 400psi ninjas had a poor anodising on the pump heads which used to wear off and the head started to corrode, but the new black coated ones are fine.

Do you hot or cold fill Russ?
With powder you need hot to dissolve where the liquid can go in cold then be heated by your inline.

When ever i used any powder its always gently added to hot water and stirred in (into a clean bucket)
This way 99% is always dissolved...

I have used F90, F70 and one clean in the tank for over fifteen years and never had a pump problem ! Maybe the new Ashbys pumps are inferior to the pumptec ?

Ashby's starting to sound like Extracta who void your warranty if you don't use their chemicals.

I wonder if detergent in the tank is of any benefit. I mean i do use them but with 0 dwell time i cant see what it does. fib fab i use for 3 reasons which are obvious but all the other chems i really have to wonder

Its quite surprising the results you can achieve even though the product is only in contact with the carpet for seconds. For mingers you do need a pre spray.
