Can you water fed pole shop fronts? And does it come up as clean as traditional?
I only normally do domestic houses but been to accountants today and he wants me to do is windows above a shop.
Shop said its no problem with the dripping water as they will have theres done.
Will it come out ok if I waterfed pole them, Cheers guys

Oh yeah they'll come up just as well.
Only thing is the shop owners might not like the water left after...makes things a bit messy for customers.
I used to do EVERYTHING WFP but I lost 2 shops because they didn't like the water dripping on customers so I now trad shop fronts.
Do em early and see how it goes.

Get a mop añd squeegee mate and learn
The real way!
Shop fonts can be done in under 60 seconds traditionally
Best way by far

Probably the only time trad is better than wfp is when doing shop fronts. It's quicker as well.
As written above, they'll still come up fine using wfp.

sure you are both right, know you having a bit of a laugh but he's gonna be cleaning office windows above a shop and then the shop too with wfp.
In that case wfp maybe quicker and more convenient
I have tried wfp on a couple of shop fronts that had high windows that I would have used a trad pole on but they leaked so reverted to a mop and squegee, but another done twice weekly comes up better than it did trad and quicker with wfp, frames are always mucky with traffic film and fAg butts and windows often have dubious substances on them (city center).

i only wfp them if they are really bad, like first cleans if the frames etc havent been done, then blade them down.
i got a few that have to wfp the flats above, but then always blade the shop windows. i find that here on the main busy roads the cars, lorrys and busses kick up a lot of dust from the road and it then sticks over the shop window.

I only do a handful of shops, I dont wfp them because they stay too clean! Trad them and they are dirty again fairly quickly..that imo is the biggest reason for not wfp'ing shops.

Water Fed Pole Shops fronts ?
Have you ever seen a wooden point ?
Get your self a Wagtail ,or learn some skills lol .
-
Depends what time of day you are their i suppose to a point i only have 1 shop front but i get their 10 mins before they open to custys .
So not an issue with dripping water . Mike

We water fed pole everything - chip shops - supermarkets - offices but we always clean these out of hours usually an hour before opening so no issues with water
However greasy hand prints can be more of a problem than with trad
