Title: Sprayers
Post by: Kev Martin on June 06, 2013, 02:18:38 pm
I am getting some top quality sprayers in to test.  They tell me they are the dogs danglies and will handle hypo really well.  I would like a few people to test them for me so I can be absolutely sure before we bring them in to our product range.

If you use sprayers all the time with Hypo or any other product or other chemicals you apply and would be interested in testing them for me I woluld like to hear from you.

I literally have no idea.  This company only produce spraying equipment. They literally have 100's of different models.  I gave them the spec I wanted and I am having several samples delivered next week.  I will try them and then I intend to send some out to heavy users for their comments.  Then I will know which ones I want to sell!  Then I can negotiate the price depending on quantity purchased.  What I will say is they are made in Germany and I am told by a German friend of mine they are the best thing since sliced bread!  Tiling Logistics only sells equipment and goods that have been thoroughly tested and meet our standards!

I have had my gloria for years and use it for everything from carpet cleaning to pest control but don't use it for hypo for obvious reasons. I'd like to try one with a view to purchase providing the spares are available

I have had another chat with them this evening and they want MSDS Sheets for Hypo and Acids that are going to be used and in what dilution rates.  I would also appreciate the size you use now and why?  If I get the MSDS and the maximum dilution ratios you use you will be getting one to try.  I have 4 different ones coming to give out for Trial!
I will also need your full postal address and contact Tel Number for the courier to deliver

Why do they require data sheets if they know they already handle bleach "really well"? Hydrochloric acid is corrosive and they need to know before making statements like that . NaClO is neat at approx 15% ( what we buy it at) so they really should have tested the sprayers at that.
I use a gloria 410 which is 10 litre 6 bar  for xyalene .Retail is around £225 plus
I also have another that i use for cleaning facias ,gutters and plastic  i run a  3% caustic/soap mix thrrough this one.
Neither have given much trouble although the caustic one needs regular greasing.
Hows the fluro testing going?

They have asked for the MSDS Sheets because they will match the sprayer and nozzle system for the product.  Also if they sell a sprayer for a partiucular application provided they are aware beforehand they offer a full guaantee and refund if it doesn't work.  They also tell me they have the only sprayer that will handle diesel/Kerosene without damage.  The fluoro testing went well.  If you want to ring me I will discuss it with you

Bought a new Hoselock one last week for re sealing block paving.  I was using Smartseals silk finish.
The sprayer is only fit for the skip now, after one use!  Gloria 410.  Gotta get me one a those.  Buy nice or buy twice.

You need viton seals for sealant don't you?
The seals would corrode during first use.

Yeah, you would do.  The fact that it knackered the sprayer after one go is a testament to how strong the Smartseal stuff is.  Can't even get a screwdriver through the sand now.

Alot of people may question that statement  ::)roll its simply the solvent prob xylene that's knackered the sprayer... Did smartseal not advised you on which sprayer to use ?

They did ofcourse.  And they did say a cheap sprayer would be useless after using their product.  I don't overly push the re sealing aspect of it as jet washing is just an add on.  Ive another on next week so with the next drum I will be getting the Gloria 410 or likewise.  Gonna get a leaf blower too, from Argos, not smartseal  ;)

OK  the first two of these arrived today.  I have been keeping the manufacturers aware of the posts on here.  I will open them tomorrow and let you know what application they are intended for and then get them out to the people that can give me relevant feedback.

Birschmeier?

Jamie

Have you tried them?  We got the Hand Chemical Sprayers off them and I have run everything through them!  They are brilliant!  They are without doubt the best sprayer I have ever used and that includes Gloria and Gardena.  I have four of their best sprayers coming now 2 arrived today and the rest on Monday.  Going to get some of the pressure washing guys to put them through their paces.  Have you tried them?

We have sold Birchmeier for a number of years now.

We like the foamer sprayers so we can play at being a car wash when we do the vans.

They are mega reliable and great quality. Seal kits are reasonably priced also.

Ditto, these have been available for years. Prochem even distribute them. The foamer is excellent and the 1.5 sprayer is the best I've ever used. We've sold loads of them.

Matt

I didn't bother sending them out in the end because it appeared everyone is selling them and everyone has loads of experience with them!  So I couldn't see any point really.
