Title: Nationwide Window Cleaners non fuel payment
Post by: petski2 on June 06, 2013, 12:43:56 pm: Had a letter from debt collecting agency today asking me to pay Tesco £62.70 for fuel used????????
The letter was addressed to Nationwide Window Cleaners but with my address.
Has this happened to anyone else??
I rang and told them it isnt me who owes so watch this space >:( >:(

The name on the letter is definately Nationwide Window Cleaners.

It's up to the debt collectors to prove you owe the debt.
You have contacted them to tell them it's nothing to do with you, and they are barking up the wrong tree.
Strange thing is that if it were for fuel I would think they would have a vehicle registration number? ???

Also the ease of which she accepted it was nothing to do with me makes me think its a scam of some kind.
