Still much cheaper than most printers - we paid £3.62 for 250 delivered, inc Vat.

Less than a good bottle of red  ;)

Chris.

nothing in lifes exactly free ::)

All you pay on the cards is the postage not bad for 250 free good quality cards is it. Plus the option for an extra 250 card for 2.50 with free postage on them.
You'll find that not many things will give you free postage

Hi Sarah

glad to be able to repay the favour ;)

Forgot to mention that on checkout they offered some half price return address labels in the same design @ £4.?? and half price letterheads.

Ideal for someone who is  starting out and wants a design done for free and really cheap stationery.

Chris,  I agree - nothing in life is really free- except I get my windows cleaned for Free every 6 months if tI'm luckly !!!  ;) LOL

Sarah

I'm no connoissuer, simple method:
Go to your large supermarket, Tesco, Morrisons.  Go for the Australian or Californian reds..Pref. a Merlot or Shiraz. Read the label, don't go too heavy on the tannins, and avoid spice flavours.
Don't waste time with Spanish or French.  They're a rip off here, and they don't travel well.  Only nice when there.
Next step:  Go for the offers.  Original price £10 reduced to £5 or £6 is good, anything above £8 reduced to about £5 will be tasty.
Just my opinion

Free business cards to tips on buying wine.

I LOVE this place!!

We did go a little off topic didn't we - my fault and I should have known better.   ::)

Consider my knuckles wrapped. I led Pj astray and hes in no way to blame for this naughty, naughty deviation off topic.  ;)

Back to topic, I have just had another email to ask if I wanted a business card holder for £3.99.  Seems I missd it at the time of booking.

Me thinks I am gonna be bombarded with 'special' offers from Vista Print now.  Dont mind if they are worth it though.  ;D

I myself brought 500 of these cards of this company a few months back the cards was really good fast delivery to but the only thing i didnt like was on the front of the card you had all the informatin you designed to go on but on the back you have wording that says " buiness cards are FREE at www.vistaprint.co.uk which i thought looked a bit cheap when handing out to possible good customers so i dont use them.
Might just be me being a bit stupid by doing this but thought id let you no.

When I order anything I allways remember to tick/untick the "notify me of other free offers" box

I get so fed up of spam and junk

I have alwaysd used Vistaprint and the 250 for under £4.00 is a great offer.
You can also enter whatever wording you want to in the template.
I have a regular supply of "windows cleaned today" cards printed up.
Using the various boxes, I enter the details of who to make cheque payable to, when and where to send it etc.
I have also just got 250 conservatory cleaning cards done for a spring promotion using shop windows etc.

You can pay extra and have nothing on the back, also if you design your cards then exit before you have ordered them you get a pop up telling you that if you complete your order you get a extra 20%off

No knuckles were being rapped, believe me.
I would have preferred tips on cards and free wine, but you can't have everything!

an interesting range of products but to have a blank back to the card it will cost you £6.99, which is kinda costly and the packaging and postal costs of having the reduced price labels is nearly £4.50 and these prices are ex VAT.

I have ordered some but I will look very closely at the reorder price

Good Topic Brett,

I have just odered 500 cards alltogether for a total cost of £6.11.

Clicked on slow delivery, 21 days, I will see what the quality is like when delivered.

If its good and I'm happy I noticed you could order 5000 cards for under £50.00. Which works out about 1p a card. Signed up for free for 30 days so I could get the £10.00 voucher with the view of useing it if I order 5000 cards.

Regards Nel.

Chris,
you just keep ordering the 250 for under £4.00
I have done about 5-6 lots for different ads.
The TINY line on the back is really irrelevant...
Title: Re: free business cards
Post by: neil100 on February 26, 2006, 10:50:58 pm
Just done some sums.

The chaepest option is to buy the cards.

Yes thats True folks, It works out cheaper then 250 Free cards.

250 Free cards = £3.62 Delivered = £3.62 divide by 250 =0.01448
500         cards = £6.11 Delivered = £6.11 divide by 500 =0.01222
5000       cards =£60.71 Delivered= £60.71 divide by 5000=0.012142

It may only be fractions, But thier you have it, cheaper to buy 5000 cards, you will also get no printing on the back unless you want to put something on yourself.

I got the Total price of £60.71 by clicking the red cross in the top right corner before I entered my credit card details. You then get the pop up screen which offers you 20% off. Click on it and it takes you back with the 20% off your order. It does not take 20% off P&P though.

So the cheapest option is to buy 5000 cards, The cards eith the sea on look quite good.I will wait untill mine arrive, if they are good I will order 5000.

I dont know how they compare with anyone elses prices though.

Nel.

Both sets of Business Cards and labels arrived this morning and the the money they are most definately worth it.  They do say 'business cards are free at....'  on the reverse but hey for £3+ I dont care.

Will be laminating some for Commercial Clients to keep.

Came from Belgium so delivery not bad either.

Thanks Brett - a good thread. Consider  your return favour completed  ;)

Mine came through Yesterday.

I orderd 500 for the grand total of £6.11 and I am very impressed.

I got the ones with the water effect on. It impressed me so much I went to the chaps who are going to sign write my van and told them to forget my original idea and we are coming up with something new.

I was going to order another 5000 today but on seeing that the Gloss finnish is Free I am just trying to decide Matt or Gloss.

I have been using vistaprint for ages and despite my initial sceptisim about quality(which was wrong) they are great. You can upload your own design.

have used them for quite a while, sorry, didnt think to share the idea :(
if you use them a few times they start sending you offers, ive just taken delivery of 500 cards with details of gutter cleaning and pressure washing i do on the reverse. they no longer have their advertisment on the back and they only cost me just under 20 quid. tried to take a picture of them to show you guys but the quality was pants.
go to the professional business card section and the design options are endless, you can print more on the reverse and im well impressed with them.
allready did a gutter clean and a pressure washing job as a result last monday for £200 so id say they still were free ;D
