Can anyone suggest what can be used to remove two year baked on by sun; window film on glass on what was new windows. Have tried scraping and it comes off in little tiny bits like fibre glass. Tried tar and glus remover and that takes off the top layer but still leaves the glue. Taking about 2 hours to do1 pane.
Thanks

Does white spirit not shift he glue?

I would try white spirit or a petroleum based cleaning product soaked into a cloth.
Let it soak in for a minute or two and scrub with the cloth.

Maybe try paint stripper applied carefully.
