Before you put the battery in the shed, fold a newspaper over the steering wheel. Then in the morning you'll wonder why it's there and remember the battery.

Don't understand why people don't put split chargers on, I've had one from day one and I've never had to charge my battery in the last 7 yrs it just sits in the back of my van and I never touch it.
-
fit a split charge relay, you fit your battery once in your van and it stays there

get a cigarette lighter plug and fit a length of cable to it. Keep it in the van to run the pump off it. it will get you out of a hole.
-
oooo i see ok i get it good idea that lol thanks for your info guys. ;D

Set your mobile phone to go off with a reminder before you leave
The house.
Or on your sun visor in cab of van have a checklist to look at before
You drive off.
I left pole at home and at last job; got to next one and had to go back.
Regarding relays i've read mix reports some guys on here had nightmares with em.

Put anything you might forget with your van keys. That's what I do.
-
Yep i thought that but shed maybe not the best place for
Van keys.
What about battery goes in shed with work boots; put on the crocs.
Be in the good books with mrs changing boots.

Crocs?
I'd be looking for a new missus if I wore those.
Just buy a new battery if you forget the old one, rather than go down the Croc route.
Crocs :-\.

Leave the battery in the van!
Extend the leads from the battery charger with some cable.
Leave the charger in the garage and the battery in the van.
Problem sorted.
Unless you drive off and forget to disconnect the charger ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
