Alright guys,
What size hydraulic hose do you guys use? Is it 3/8 or 5/16.
As many of you know I'm currently stripping my crappy kiam and replacing it all with genuine quality parts.
I've just been to hydraulics shop and they only do 3/8 hose (with that being the industry standard).
Turns out mines 5/8 so all the connectors are all too small.
If I get another 5/8 would that cause problems when I get a hot box as all the connectors will be different?

3/8 on all ours Chris

Cheers Lee,
I bought 3/8. Who the feck puts 5/16.. Bloody scamsters.
I bought 10m of hose, guy says there's only a few metres left on the reel so he'll chuck it in for free.. Turns out I got an extra 6m.. Result!! ;D
I text you the other day pal, about the roofing job, dunno if you got it or was too busy.

I didn't get a text pal. We cleaned the roof on Monday.

I use 3/8 too but have some 1/4" twin wire which in my opinion is much easier to work with. I'll be buying 1/4" when i replace my hose.

Does using the 1/4" restrict the machine at all Matt?

You worked a bank holiday :P cool video. I lifted a mob number from your website, although knowing me I probably copied it wrong.

I've never had any problems mate but i dont know for sure.

I have lenghts of 1/4 5/16 and loads of 3/8. A proper hydraulic place will have the right ends to put 3/8 bsp ends on them all
