I have just replaced my 10'' membranes after 2 and a bit years. I flush the system and change the filters, I also have a booster pump. Don't need to product that much water, about 600 litres a week. Water from tap is around 280 - 300. Is this about right to change every two years?

My concept 2o RO lasted 2 years, but I did freeze it at one point I think!
I believe it depends on your maintenance, and the type of water in your area too
-
really depends on your tap TDS - the higher it is the quicker the membrane will clogg up - even with flushing etc..
but you should be getting at least 2 years + from a quality membrane if you are changing the pre-filters esp the carbon
every 6 months minimum.
if your making only 600 ltrs per week is your ro standing around unused for 2 or 3 days a week you may find that unprocessed water sitting in the membrane is ageing it. at the end of a run you could use 25lts of pure water and
feed it back into the ro before shutdown this means the membrane will sit in pure water when not in use

I managed 18 months from my Merlin membranes and 24 hours to 6 months from the pre-filter, depending on conditions.

My merlin membranes lasted just under 3 years
when reading the instruction booklet it's reccomended to place more pre filters before the RO and not rely on
the pre filter in the unit itself

2-3 years, more in a soft water area, less in a really hard water area.

my water starts at 450ppm and my 10inch membraines are now 2 years and 3 months old. still going ok.
