What do you use to get the old clamps off of the c lx,I need to put these new 
Ones on tonight.

Hacksaw or a fine tooth hand saw will do

can't be that hard to just knock em off with a blunt instrument ? all the clamps bar one had come unstuck on my clx within 3 months of buying it anyhow  :P

ive used a heat gun before on my slx, takes quite alot of heating but they come off in the end.
bonus is you dont loose a few inches  :o
