Title: Anyone working tomorrow (bank holiday)?
Post by: Klean07 on May 26, 2013, 10:03:23 am
I've just looked at the weather forecast for this week which is not good but tomorrow is forecast sunny!
Most of my custards are monthly I need at least two days this week to get them all done so we'll see!

Jeepers Griff. You're getting worse by the day. Soon, hopefully, it'll get to a point where your jokes are funny. ;D

.......................................

I'm definitely working tomorrow just as I always work a Saturday and Sunday.

Not only do customers tend to be home on such days which means payment there and then, but neighbours who aren't in during the week may see you cleaning windows. They're the best days to pick up new jobs by doing nothing other than being there and working.

Ross, I wouldn't bank on it.

Myself, I'm working, weather permitting. I've just had a week with the family (and inlaws) and an evening with the family (and inlaws), so need to get back on the horse.
I work when I want to and never seem to really not want to go to work.
It's one of the few things I like about the job.

It's rubbish we'll have to wait until August for the next 'working BH' thread, though  ::)roll.

Did you have to cut a hole in the roof for used gases?

Decided against it in the end due to an improved weather forecast plus an extra day in the month because for some reason I thought June started on Friday!

Bank holidays are the PERFECT days for working.

Most people are in. You are more likely to be paid straight away. You are more likely to gain customers who see you in the street. Rush hour traffic is reduced.

What's not to like?
