Each to their own but I did try it and did'nt like it as I found no slip with it,I use Ecover for trad work but do think that GG3 and 4 is so over rated and over priced for the stuff it is.

use one called high class smells like oranges nice for indoor trad work scent wise but to be honest so long as blade slips and get result looking for dont think it matters at all what you use does it?

i shall be using wash up liquid when im through with the 10 litres i bought.

Every so called "professional" product i have tried i.e. gg3/4, unger gel/pill, ettore etc have all been absolute poop! no glide whatsoever! its like when you buy a cheap washing up liquid you end up using 3 times as much to get the desired effect! Just 2 weeks ago i bought a bottle of persil washing up liquid for the house as it was £1 and thought they might know what they are doing?....NO had to use 3 times as much and now its all gone!  >:(

                                          YOU CAN NOT BEAT FAIRY!

i use gg3 with a bit of squeegee off.gg3 IMO leaves a really good shine to the windows and the squeegee off gives a few suds and slip.i dont do much trad these days so i dont use a lot.

pro detergents are not sticky like fairy.in fact i cant stand fairy!!i have used ecover before now which is ok but you cant beat the gg3/squeegee off combo! ;D ;D ;D

My old boss when I first started window cleaning, used to use fairy and in direct sunlight you can see the oil slick effect it leaves on the glass. Not very professional at all in my opinion.

I've always used Unger fluid for trad and never had any problems with it. I do put it way more than recommended though, to get a few suds, as I like to see where I've taken the water off the glass.
