superglue on fabric remover..............any ideas?

I used pliers to break up into smaller bits, then pog, chewing gum remover and hot water. Still didn`t come out. next I was going to try a steam machine.

If you are unable to soak the area for a long period (immersion) in a solution of detergent and water then acetone or nail varnish remover with break down the adhesive. As long as you are not dealing with a triacetate fabric you should not have any problems. Obviously acetone is going to be corrosive to any adhesive or foams, so bear this in mind.

You could rub some soap on it first then apply acetone the soap suspends the acetone and prevents it from soaking in for a period of time.

You can buy super glue remover at most places you can buy super glue. Not sure what effect it has on fabrics though.

Ive never dealt with super glue on a fabric personally but acetone is super glues main weakness. You may need to use a toothbrush and reapply taking it layer by layer.
Some of the super glue removers come in a gel so may or may not be easier to work with but definitely safer i would think.
Ill admit I didnt know this till about a month ago but thanks to Chemspec and as Peter has already mentioned it in this thread acetone will dissolve an acetate fabric.
