Leaking push fittings turning my van into Sea World. Any ideas??

well, the bottom pic is bound to leak - you've got braided hose which doesn't have a smooth finish. Also they look to be under strain from the hose angles.
-
Which hose would I use then Dave?
-
Dunno - what diameter is the stuff you've got already? looks a bit like pole hose. If it is then Gardiners or Aquadapters might fit. even better with barbed inserts. Can't tell from the pic.

The reason for the leaks, as has been said, is that you are using flexible braided hose instead of John Guest tubing. To fit these connectors properly you need something like John Guest 1/2" tubing as in this link - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/john-guest-1-2-inch-natural-tubing.html
