Wish I had seen this before wasting my money on a dragonfly indoor kit.
Would be great for pumping detergent onto fascias and gutters before
brushing.
-
I like the idea Jo, for wetting the mop/window for trad, would be great for indoor work
-
its a brilliant apparatus plus cheap to run you can buy as many windshield washer bags as you like and just change over if you dont want to refill them the most it will cost to make the whole system is roughly £35

Does the battery just fit in a phone case or something?
I'm going to make one and add one of these as an extra tank:

Nice one Jo
I bought the battery operated pump & reservoir belt that was popular about a couple of years ago with the aim of building a DIY dragonfly - but it didn't have the power to pump water to a height of 20' + - so it's still in bit's in my workshop.
I think I'll give this a go
Cheers, Dave
This is the kit I bought http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hudson-62518-NeverPump-Porta-Pak-Fanny-Pack-Battery-Operated-Sprayer-/380564068886?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item589b62da16

How long does the battery last Jouk?
a good few hrs barry using as trad should last all day as your only using power when you press the switch
-
Nice idea Jouk,
Have you tried it at height? I would be interested to know what "head" you can get for indoor spray.
I find the dragon fly is useless above about 30' and considering I bought it to a 50' job is very annoying. (and costly)
-
Looks good Joe. :)
But does the weight of the water bag pull your trousers down to your ankles? ;D
-
Are you asking for personal or professional reasons Andy ??
;D ;D
-
gimmicky,over the top and cumbersome!
BUT if it works for you then fair play.i wouldnt use it though.
having a cloth pouch and boab is enough on my belt and a lot of the time i dont have the boab on as i try and wfp most work these days as i hate having the boab on!! ;D ;D ;D
im sure wagga would be interested though as he s just loves anything diy and overcomplicating things!! ;D ;D ;D

Well I thought I had better ask just incase a customer finds me in their back garden with their cat and my trousers round my ankles. ;D
-
So.....
personal then :P :P
;D ;D ;D
-
I am with Daz, Think its another think to clutter our lives. If you are serious, use your Back pak as for water pole with it, a joke.

I agree to a point, however there are always the odd occasion where something like this could be a handy and cheap way of getting around a problem.
-
like it
-
Squeegee springs to mind...
Pointless tool.. Sorry joe
-
I've got at least a couple of internal jobs where a dragonfly would be effective - this could be a good DIY version of a dragonfly at a fraction of the cost.
If it's versatile and can be used, if required, for additional tasks - then it's better than a dragonfly
Keep up the good work Jo
-
nice one jouk 8)
jo , icannot access the academy keeps saying its got malmare , any ideas?

not if you have a good belt seriously it is very light
-
Just watched the vids, would it not be too much water for internal use? Does seem quite a lot coming out.

the idea is for indoor cleaning that's what i had in mind, the other things i showed was merely demos this can be used for other tools the fact it can be put together for around £35 is a winner in itself

the internal pole heads have misting spray jets but if you mean on the mop that was for demo only you can ad a misting jet on it
