From the carpet cleaning section.
Was watching WFP man on 3 storey flats next
door to where I was working.
How can he tell with the pole that high up whether
he's got them cleaned properly.
It was hard to tell even with pilots vision as the sun
was right in our faces.
I've got pretty good eyesight and I could barely make
out what was happening up there.

You trust your technique.
-
Clean by faith, not by sight.
It's someone's strapline on here. Spot on.
If you saw at 3 storeys-think about the (near on) 90 foot poles! Still comes up clean.

Cleancare on here has his solution
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.
-
Guess work at that height.
-
I used to do a job at 80 feet in & out.
Out first day, inside the staircase (full height) second day.
Hand on heart-after the first clean there wasn't a mark on the glass, not even the odd drip.
An element if guesswork-perhaps. Did the job for 5 years odd. Perfect every time.
Don't do it anymore as it wasn't my job, it was subbed. The guy who had it still does it, far as I know.

;D finally it pays off.
You do have to have faith in your technique & kit the higher you work as the op quite rightly mentioned you cant see what your doing. But its not blind faith is it, its based on knowing that your technique & kit do the job at 18ft and you know this 100% because you can see any dirt that needs to be removed and the results.
Working at height, nothing changes apart from not being able to see what needs cleaning, or the results hence a good technique being more important than ever & a dash of faith ;) ;D

........... and you can always carry a pair of binoculars in the van.
-
Doesn't matter what the height is wfp cleaning is all about trust in your technique and
system.
The windows are still wet when we leave.
-
A wet window is a clean window LOL ! ;-)
