Title: Pumptec pumps?
Post by: gaz1984mcc on May 14, 2013, 10:45:38 am: Hi does anyone on here know who the UK distributor is for pumptec? Or somewhere that sells a variety of there pumps rather than just the 250 psi and 500 psi versions.

Mytee uses one in the LTD12

I think its fitted with a 1hp at least ... overkill perhaps if its just for carpet .. good for T&G

But the big motors will weigh heavy even if u have the space to fit them .

lots of examples on this site , they might pair with 1/2 HP if you asked ..

I would be quite happy with even one of these for carpet ...

Don't get the need for 600-800psi pumps ... unless you use those T&G spinner things .

Because of supply issues although you can get them from steambrite but I reckon it would probably work out pretty expensive with shipping. I think Woodbridge seem to be the cheapest around to be honest.

This is the exact same pump ... but you see its more expensive when they stick a Mytee badge on it :)

Steembrite might be worth a shot ... otherwise the 500psi pumptec from woodbridge is good value .. or the 150psi shurflo on the induction motor .

Guy I use for servicing porty wants about £550
for supply and fit.
Anybody know if Pirtek will do it.
