If you have a full book in which year was this achieved?
-
I have been going about 3 years and still filling my book.
Thanks
-
Still working on it after 4 years ;)
it's a bit like asking 'How long is a piece of string' though
-
If I ever fill my books I will sell 25%, put my prices up and have some time off.
-
It's an on going thing mate for years and years and years
-
*More than 3 years.
-
+1
To fill out a full working schedule of good paying decent customers can take a life time.
I've been at it 33 years and the last time I took on a new potentially good payer = Today ;)

im about 40% full booked with regular work! 2 years starting with nothing, and not buying any work.....
-
I was full within 1 year then binned a load of messers and started again canvassing then in year 2 I was fullish again so sold a chunk off and dropping messers as I went now after year 3 I'm pretty full again but nice and compact so won't be selling again prob takes 3 or 4 years of buying selling and canvassing to get it right but don't worry too much about being full of customers you need to be full of quality customers but as others have said its always ongoing process - I'm actually out doing leaflets and canvassing for 3 hours but hissing down so sheltering in van typing this.

ive been window cleaning 20 years and now work on average 3 weeks a month.sometimes another few days depending on add on jobs and what work is due.
i used to have a much bigger round but it didnt pay as much and was done off ladders.i sold some work around 7 years ago and refined my work.
im still refining now.its an ongoing thing.in fact i dumped a job today after finally getting payment. ;D ;D ;D
i wouldnt want to be flat out window cleaning 5 or 6 days a week every week anyway as i would get bored of it.work to live not live to work! ;D ;D ;D
WFP has allowed me to complete my work faster and to take on much bigger, better paying jobs so im still making good money even though i dont work flat out every day.
in fact my average working day includes about 5 -6 hours "on the glass" time and another hour or so for filling up,maintaining equipment, admin etc.
also collecting which is about 1-2 hours a week.
normally i can get my work finished and up to date in 3 weeks unless we have REALLY bad weather so i get a break at the end of the month before next months workloads due.
this gives my body a rest from all the poling and stops me getting bogged down with the job! :D :D ;D ;D

Thanks guys for your honest replies. I am finding similar results. Keep them coming.
-
it never ends all depents on what your happy with
-
33 ppl taking part need more.
-
What you will find is that for the first year or two the goals keep moving. As you think you are nearly full you will get faster and also will dump the PIA customers. I also find that dropouts are at their worst in the first 18 months.

Depends how big your book is ;D ;D .
A life time year on year things change a few years ago i was happy with what i had, Now i want more my books are almost full now without any need for a cull after 13 years .
I have good custy's and payer's , But i will always take on new custys that i want as you always have natural wastage such as custys moving out of area etc . Mike
