Can anyone suggest a wholesale supplier of 12" Carpet Rakes please, the firm we used to buy from are no longer supplying rakes. We usually buy 100 at a time so looking for wholesale not the 'regular' price if possible.
Thanks,
Allan.

Interlink supplies in the States sell the 'Perky' ::)roll 12" carpet rakes at $11 for quantities of a hundred. Not sure of shipping costs
-
For that price you can probably get 100 dozen made i china and shipped here.
-
Why would you want a 100 rakes ? do you employ 100 guys ? or do you give them away on every job ?

12" RAKES ARE GOOD SELLERS , used to sell loads as a CD .

I have one customer who sells them on to his clients.
He probably sells 1 a week on average.

Thanks elliott cleaning, I looked at Perky but they won't deal direct apparently, unless someone know's otherwise please let me know, would be much appreciated. And $11 each from a 'supplier', plus shipping, Tax, etc etc makes them too expensive unfortunately. We usually pay around £4.50/£4.75 each depending on the oil price (apparently related to plastic prices, or was i just having my leg lifted?)
Thanks Jason, might be the route to go and get them made for myself. Still got a couple of dozen but need to reorder soon. If nobody else has any suggestions I'll start investigating China option.
If I manage to pull this off would anyone else be interested in splitting a larger order to get a better price?

Yes

What would customers want a carpet rake for??
-
Raking carpets ( sorry I couldn't resist ) :)
-
Why...I've never had the inclination to even rake
my own carpets...in fact never even thought about
it.

I find a lot of those cheap rakes leave undesirable patterns on many carpets ..

Depends how you use them and on what. Wouldn't use on good wool carpets or saxony/velvet pile but great on synthetics and customers love em when they see you final groom their carpet. I think those are the 'Perky' ones in the picture.
-
Perky's I believe are all logo'd so that is probably just a OEM or other brand.
-
Thanks Fran. I have a man looking into China supplier :)
-
100 dozen is generally the min order on chinese special mades , I would go in on an order Allan
-
So that's Jamie and Jason in, just waiting to hear back.
