Title: twin pump inlet
Post by: Matt Gibson on May 12, 2013, 06:41:19 pm
Anyone running with a twin water feed into the pump got any pics of the set up? Am thinking of changing from 1 inlet on the pump to 2 to try an maximise flow.

Watch this Matt. Ignore the slip up on ''13 litres per minute'' It's a 202 pump. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9xPtHqlR6s

Cheers rob, would appreciate it.

Lee, thats a tidy set up. Though ive already run my feed house in the van so I dont particularly want to run a second. Im going to need to split the feed from near the pump.

Wasjust wondering how everyone else had theirs set up.

I only have the one feed hose on my 21 ltr which is 3/4" and it runs fine but it is positively fed from the bottom of the tank, it was fine on 1/2" hose at one point. My big machine runs 54 ltrs/min and still only has one feed hose. It may be a different story if you just drop the suction hoses into a drum. I don't like those small brass strainers - I use a very much larger one

Yeah my feed is positively fed, comes out the bottom of the tank. I think the inlet on my pump is 1/2''
