Had a double cab pick up for ten years, they are a great vehicle especially getting the family about.
Great for trad working guys imo, but when I changed over to wfp I found space was an issue and reluctantly had to get a LWB van.

I had a ranger with a truckman top and with a 650 custom made tank. It was more of an issue getting the poles in from job to job I'd have the poles hanging out the back but on long journeys I'd take the goosenecks off and the poles would just fit in. Got a Primastar now as the ranger was getting cramped for other stuff.

I have a super cab Ranger with four seats and suicide rear doors - a 400l flat tank fits nicely along with the hose reel, pole, pump, battery and trad bucket. The Super Cab is about 9-10 inches longer than the double cab, into which my gear would not fit.

My pole goes inside of cab in between the 2 front seats inside a padded fishing rod case bit like a gun bag works a treat . Mike

I have a navara. 350l tank and fit six 30 and clx18 in the back. Used to run 2 reels.
Love not needing a car and a van. One vehicle to worry about.
