Title: Smelly rug
Post by: mark_roberts on May 11, 2013, 05:50:56 pm
Got a hand knotted rug which got leaked on from a roof leak.

Ive cleaned it and its clean but then there was a smell of dog wee.
Powerwashed it and then sprayed a heavy dose of mpower and odour neutriliser on it and dried.
Still smells but not as bad.

Next step is emersion.

So how long and with what product would you use.

Ive used masterblend skunk remover before but its stinks worst than the urine!!

Any tips.

Thanks
Mark

Mark, i would guess that it is not fully dried and thats why you still have a slight wiff.

Been dry for a week.

Does kill odour plus work in an emersion situation.  Used it before but it was hit or miss.

Thanks

In that case use 429 plus, that will kill it.

The thing is Urine Contamination Treatment has to be rinsed out, where as Odour Kill Plus Dosen't! and smells just the same , maybe not quit as strong
