I acquired quite a lot of new custies over the last couple of weeks
The thing is, nearly all of them insist on 2 month cleans, rather than my usual 1 monthly. Also more of my old custies have changed to 2 months
I'm beginning to wonder if there's some "money saving tips" book been published , advising people to cut down on window cleaning!
-
I agree, quite a lot of people seem to want them done 2 monthly now, but they are better for us in the long run as you can get away with charging quite a bit more for 2 monthlys
-
just charge them more for a 2 monthly clean so when they are due you earn more for time taken to clean.im pretty full up with work(for my schedule)so im not bothered what frequency as long as the money is right!! ;) :) :)
-
I like that idea, like "yes you can change to 2 months, but its ten percent extra" kinda thing?
-
Yup but make it 25%.
Say it with conviction.
Customer won't bat an eyelid.
I do it (almost) every time a frequency change comes up. Only ever lost 2 customers because of it.
-
I think it could also be last years weather when its dull and raining
all the time people don't care about clean windows.
A few weeks of sunshine and they all want to go back to monthly cleans.
-
I do mine every 6 weeks only, never have a problem even with new customers that had it done every2 months before.

Depends on how many custy i have in one street/area as to how much i charge as well picked up a few terraced 3 storey town house's 4 wkly £7.00 8 wkly £10 , got no 8 weekly but got nearly every custy in the street at £7.00 4 weekly . Mike

All mine are given a 'one-off' price so if I never see them again its no problem.
If they choose monthly or every 2 months it's a bonus.

But what % of your regular clean price is your one off price? cheers ;)

i can honestly say i havent had anyone ask for 8 weekly in ages! i usually just tell them '' this is the price... we come 1 x every 4 weeks, then explaint payment menthods'' and they usually go with it!
