Got one of these yesterday and wondered whether anyone else has had one and did it improve your TDS?

No never had it where I live.
But take note that there is a possibility of discolouration in your water supply and possibly sediment.
I would run the bath tap for 1/2 hour or so after they have finished to make sure the water supply is clear before running the RO.

We had it a while ago. the tds of incoming water went from 360 to 240.

Not bad that, a reduction of 120! I never realised the water board did flushing, after all we lived here 11 years and never had one!
@ Andy, thanks for the tip, I'll defo run water for a while to make sure it's clear.

Had it done round my area last year they cleaned out our pipes and lined them then cleaned them with a strong smelling cleaner , I turned off my ro lucky as I had 2000 l of pure in reserve ,not wanting to risk the equipment

Switch the r/o off and wait if you can.
Where we have to be more careful is when the have to do emergency repairs. If you haven't enough water, take the day off. The dirt that came down our pipes blocked my new sediment filter in a couple of hours.
Last time it happened I filled the bath about 4 times before the water ran clear. I then used the r/o without issue.
