Had a cheque arrive today ripped in half. The post office knew they'd done it 'cos they sealed it in a special bag with an apology. Problem is I don't know who wrote the cheque, the date. All I can see is the amount.
Try phoning Royal Mail - the whole system is geared up to put you off! The worst set of options I've ever heard on and on and on. They should be prosecuted for their disgusting evasive methods!
Finally got the mrs to try before my temper exploded. We now are in the process of more form filling and utter bullpoope.

What a nightmare 1 cheque in how many thousands you have delivered. You will find out when you next clean the customers windows and the say they paid ask if cashed you have your answer. Why would you be wasting your time filling out forms.

The cheque isn't the problem. It's a massive company that offers a customer service number then deliberately makes it impossible to solve any customer complaints that is the problem.

What's more is the dirty dogs charge for the call when you want to complain.

Me neither. It's bound to happen sooner or later though..
