not exactly offended but i dont like it when people go over the top . when they seem to swear in every other word .. its a bit annoying tbh
-
No need for it, surely we are intelligent enough to express ourselves without the use of expletives.
-
WTF has this got to do with windie cleaning f all get it moved ffs ;D
-
It's been said that the amount a person swears is inversely proportional to their IQ...

There has to be rules.
Also, how we communicate with each other is very important.

I don't like people swearing in the street. It is far more common than it used to be and I find it offensive. I think CIU is right to keep swearing off here although sometimes I feel like swearing.

The question posed by Stu is 'who is offended by swearing'. Not is it necessary, should we ban it or is there any need for it?
In answer to the original question ~ no.
Its the gimps that use text-speak and don't use English grammar correctly that do my nut. There's one or two on here that obviously were drug up in a gutter somewhere. Look at their Facebook page and their use of the English language suddenly reverts to the Queens!

I try not to swear as a rule, although the occasional descriptive word for dog's muck has slipped out when I get it on the hose.
If I'm in the pub and a workmate were to laughingly say "You daft (insert mild swear word), you!" in a friendly way it wouldn't bother me, but you get some selfish thick so-and-so's who swear every other sentence and I don't count them among my acquaintances.

I am never offended by swearing, in fact, in my experience, whenever I have been offended, its always been by a person.

a few on here seem to be faking they are hoity toit toffs- get a life you bloomin nerds , and get that tweed deerstalker off before i knock it off

Text speak cracks me up. If you've got a qwerty keyboard, then why use bingo speak? ;D Swearing would be nice sometimes, especially when answering Tosh's posts. Also, Hector can bring out the worst in people, because he's an ex scaley, and reads the Daily Mirror.
